The imaginary world of Doctor Who, created through more than 5 decades by numerous talented writers, producers, designers and actors, not to mention The Doctor himself played by Tom for 7 years, has entertained millions of people, and in some cases helped them tackle this confusing world and make something of their lives.
Over 4,000 people have written in Tom’s guestbook since his first website went online in 2009, many of them telling inspiring personal stories of the importance of Doctor Who in their lives and Tom greatly appreciates them. You are a legend, a hero and an inspiration!
With very best wishes!
Many happy returns.
Hope to see you again soon.

Who could have foreseen the World Wide Web? Well, certainly not my 7 year old self, who would have been so excited at the prospect of being able to send you an electronic "Birthday Card" every year!
So, here's wishing you a great day - with lots of love from that 7 year old - and me, 45 years on!
Happy 86th Birthday Tom - and, as always, Happy Days!
A cake with a lot of jelly babies for the best Doctor of all the times (and the first I ever seen in Italy), a very special voices and, in the past year, also a Doctor Who's writer with "Scratchamn"! Shame that the movie was not realized...
In Italy we have not more other plays different from "Doctor Who", but we can read of you on the web!
Thanks for all in the past, the present and the future, have a very very very special day for your 86th birthday!
Giuliano
Happy Birthday Tom.
Wishing you a very Happy 86th Birthday!
Like so many others, I grew up watching you as "Doctor Who" in the 1970's. It's hard to believe you're now 86 (and I'm now 57).
You are, without doubt, the greatest living Doctor! A true legend! You have achieved immortality!
Bless you Tom!
Clive Mattinson
I even know from being in Richard Curtis' Blackadder II.
Have a very nice day!
Pat
Happy Birthday for the 20th. You may here this all the time. You have been a hero to me ever since I first watched you as a child in 1978, since I have followed and loved all your work. I am not a true Whovian just a Bakerist. All the best for 2020. Thanks for being part of my past.
